Club history

Nastroenie dancesport club was founded in Rousse in 1985

NASTROENIE dancesport club was created in the town of Rousse in the autumn of 1985 by Mrs. Elena Despotova and Mr. Ivan Despotov . Since its establishment the club's home has been the conference hall of Vazrazhdane School in Rousse.  The club has a long and exciting history of achievements. For the last 35 years thousands of enthusiastic children have attended dance classes and many of them have become elite dancesport competitors, winning prestige and numerous awards for the club from national and international dancesport tournaments.

Besides all other achievements of individual couples from NASTROENIE dancesport club at prestigious tournaments in Bulgaria and abroad, teams from the club have won thirteen national championships in the extremely difficult and most attractive discipline FORMATION LATIN. Being the national champion, our team has represented Bulgaria at eleven European and eleven World Championships in Austria, Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, Poland, Hungary, the Czech republic. Under the professional guidance of head coaches Mrs. Despotova and Mr. Despotov, the club's team has ranked among the top 10 teams in Europe and the world, competing with over 35 other contesters. At the Danube Cup Open Championship, held in Vienna, NASTROENIE dancesport formation team achieved the seventh place in competition with 23 teams.

NASTROENIE dancesport club has hosted 34 national and international competitions; in the autumn of 2007 it was the host of the first Bulgarian International Dancesport Formation Competition and won the bronze medals.

During all these years we have been supported by generous donors such as The Bulgarian River Shipping J.S.Co., Danube Dredging Fleet JSC Rousse, Markam Fashion, Vazrazhdane School Rousse, the Municipality of Rousse and our friends and supporters from the general public, especially from the sports and culture societies in Rousse.
